Do You Know How Your Parks & Programs are Paid For?
Your Community Services Department is supported by program fees and Transient Occupancy Taxes (TOT) paid by visitors to Healdsburg who stay in the City's hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts. Of the 12% tax paid on the nightly room rate, 2% goes to the general fund for public safety and 10% goes to support your parks, senior center, community center and recreation programs. No general fund money is used to fund this department.
