The Russian River watershed is in a severe drought and the hottest days of summer are still to come. This year, the region received 13” of rain compared to the average 38”, and the reservoirs are alarmingly low.
The City of Healdsburg has mandated a 20% reduction in water use to stem unsustainable water demands and ensure we have enough drinking water through 2021.
Irrigation and Outdoor Use Restrictions
Watering and irrigation are limited to Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 8pm – 7am.
Hosing down driveways and hardscapes is prohibited.
Washing personal vehicles is prohibited.
New swimming pool permits will not be authorized unless water is sourced from outside Healdsburg’s potable water system.
Dust control, compaction, and other construction must use recycled water; potable water is prohibited.

If you discover a water leak or receive a water leak notice from the City, repair it within 72 hours.
