This past weekend we saw heavy winds and rain. Overall the City fared well, but there were some areas where trees impacted roadways, including up at the Villa Chanticleer and on Hidden Acres Road. The tree at the Villa Chanticleer was cleared today.
Hidden Acres is currently closed while crews work to remove the tree over the roadway. An alternative route has been established for those who live on Hidden Acres via a private property with the owner’s consent. The road will remain closed until the tree is cleared to ensure the safety of the public. We are doing our best to expedite that work and are hopeful it will be complete soon.
